Dear the Dancers, Teachers and Students of tomorrow,
Before I decided to enrol at Dance Creation a much awaiting future on the stage in musical theatre was just around the corner for me, or so it seemed. After at first beginning with one class a week and then slowly moving up to around 10 or more, my dreams of musical theatre began to fade and the thought of the possibility of becoming a professional dancer beckoned in my mind.
At the age of 16, which seems like a lifetime ago, I started dancing. After trying a few studios around the Penrith area I found Dance Creation. I was welcomed warming into each class by Miss Ilona, all other staff and also the fantastic students. After quite a few months of persistent training and dedication I could feel myself improving there and could feel a sense of who I was as a dancer. The classroom became my home, the teachers became my friends and the dance became my soul. From then on the harder I wanted to work, the more I wanted to push and the faster I improved.
If you want to dance, and if your willing to work hard and have fun doing it then Dance Creation is the place to do it. If you want to learn and want to improve then Miss Ilona can turn you into the best dancer that you can be. To be a good dancer you must realise the determination and dedication it takes, not just for you, but the dancers in which you are performing with. They say that you have to be a little crazy to dance and its true, because when you dance…… you aren‘t dancing in this world… your dancing in your own. So let go, don’t hold back and live your dream the way you want it to be lived.
No regrets, there’s no day but today.

For over 10 years I was a proud student of Dance Creation it was literally my second home. I was always provided with professional, patient and dedicated teachers who were great role models for me as a child but great friends to me as I got older. As a part of DC Co I was provided with opportunities to perform in many different settings including trips to Queensland, Melbourne and my most memorable trip to the USA where we performed at Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm. I will never forget the fun I had on the trip and all the things that we did together. As students we were always encouraged to do our best but more importantly to love and enjoy it. Over the years I established strong friendships that have gone way beyond the studio. I met Miss Ilona as a six year old girl and now at twenty three she remains one of my dearest friends. I would recommend Dance Creation to anyone who is looking for a dance studio which not only provides opportunity for professional instruction but also a family environment where you will leave everyone class with a smile.

My family and I have had the privilege of being involved with Dance Creation for about the past 8 years. I have watched my two girls not only develop in dance but also build confidence and create life-long friendships. From the very first day Ilona provided a welcoming, friendly and safe environment for my children, whilst she and all dance instructors make wonderful role models who demonstrate commitment and dedication. Not to mention the Annual concerts that are simply amazing, with great choreography, dazzling costumes and many memories to cherish. My experience at Dance Creation has taught me to dance from the heart and to strive for my goals. This is my 13th year at Dance Creation, I started when I was almost 3, as years went by I had the experience of learning new styles of dance and meeting new friends. I think if I never wanted to dance I would not have the confidence to get up on stage or to try new things, Miss Ilona was the one who taught me to love dance and if I never came to Dance Creation I would not have danced the same!

My daughter has been with Dance Creation for 6 years. In this time she has developed a love of dance and I've seen her change from a shy child who didnt want anyone watching her to a confident and outgoing young girl who cant wait to get on stage and perform. I believe that this is because of Ilona and her other teachers, who nurture their students and help them to be the best they can be, in a fun and caring environment. As a parent you cant ask for more than that.
